Péče o diabetika v ambulantní praxi

Diabetes mellitus (DM) patří mezi nejčastější metabolická onemocnění. Komplexní péče o diabetika vyžaduje spolupráci diabetologa s lékaři jiných odborností a vzhledem k narůstajícímu počtu pacientů lze očekávat, že péči o diabetiky zejména 2. typu budou ve větší míře zajišťovat ambulantní internisté a praktičtí lékaři. Tento článek shrnuje základní doporučení k dané problematice.
