LYMFEDÉM KONČETIN V ORDINACI PRAKTICKÉHO LÉKAŘE

Článek informuje o současné koncepci problematiky lymfedému končetin (etiologie, patofyziologie, diagnostika, léčba, prevence). Oslovuje především praktické lékaře, ale i zdravotníky všech specializací setkávajícíCH se s problematikou „oteklých končetin“. Zdůrazňuje zásadní význam kvalifikované interdisciplinární spolupráce pro prevenci, včasnou diagnostiku a racionální léčbu lymfedému na specializovaných pracovištích (lymfocentra), následnou udržovací léčbu v domácím prostředí, prevenci komplikací a zhoršení klinického stavu lymfedematiků. Uvádí charakteristiku onemocnění, zásady komplexní péče o nemocné a specifikuje význam spolupráce s praktickými lékaři na úspěšné dlouhodobé léčbě nemocných.
