Significance of vaccination against infections in the general practitioner's surgery

The significance and options of vaccination as the most effective way of preventing infectious diseases are constantly increasing. The guidelines

developed also take into account the specific features of adult population risk groups. The low vaccination rate in the adult population

in the Czech Republic can be particularly increased by sufficient awareness at all levels. The general practitioner has an irreplaceable role

in educating and making a positive impact on the lay public.
