The author presents a review article on the options of immunomodulatory therapy of recurrent respiratory infections (RRI). He first focuses
on defining the term RRI and, next, on possible immunomodulatory strategies in the management of these conditions, with a particular
regard to the options for general practitioners. He deals in detail with bacterial immunomodulators and the drug OLIMUNOVAC that he
has most clinical experience with and that can be used in field practice by general practitioners.
