Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder characterized by four distinct clinical stages predominantly affecting the central area of

the face.Rosacea affects mostly adults over the age of 30, with a higher incidence in women. We categorized pathological mechanisms

of rosacea in innate immunity, vascular changes, reactive oxygen species, ultra violet radiation and microbes. The disease has a variety

of clinical manifestations that include flushing, persistent erythema, papules and telangiectasia. Treating rosacea varies depending on

severity and subtypes.

Demodex folliculorum end Demodex brevis are obligatory parasites in hair follicles and pilosebaceous glands. Although most people

are infested with Demodex mites, only a few evelop the clinical symptoms of demodicosis. Predilection sites of human demodicosis are

the face, scalp, and upper aspect of the chest, feed on the epithelial cells of hair follicles and pilosebaceous glanc.
