Chicken pox is currently most often reported infectious illness in the Czech Republic. Nevertheless, while immunization is possible,
the percentage of those vaccinated against the disease is so far very low. One of the reasons for this is that the vast majority
of cases are mild. However, the illness can be accompanied by a range of complications, not only among at-risk groups such as
immunosuppresed persons and newborns but also among completely healthy persons.
