MIGRÉNA - Nová mezinárodní klasifikace a moderní léčebné postupy

Migréna představuje odedávna závažný medicínský, ale i socioekonomický problém. Názory na etiopatogenezu migrény se postupně vyvíjejí a doplňují. V současné době se uznává komplexní neurogenní teorie s aktivací trigeminovaskulárního komplexu. V září 2003 byla zveřejněna nová Mezinárodní klasifikace bolestí hlavy. V práci jsou podrobně diskutována diag­nostická kritéria jednotlivých typů migrény. Strategie moderní léčby migrény využívá kombinace vhodné profylaktické kúry, která má zajistit 50% redukci migrenózních záchvatů, a účinné akutní léčby včetně skupiny specifických antimigrenik, triptanů, kterou přeléčíme zbývající ataky.
