Hemoroidy - musí bolet?

Zatímco závažná a zhoubná onemocnění jsou oprávněně ve středu zájmu odborné veřejnosti, laická veřejnost má hluboko v povědomí uložena jiná onemocnění, nezřídka díky reklamám na léčbu nebo na některé medikamenty. K posledně uvedeným nepochybně patří hemoroidy. Je proto na místě se ptát, proč hemoroidy vzbuzují tolik laických obav a proč pacienti hledají jiné formy léčby, než nabízí „bílá“ medicína. Následující řádky by měly přispět k vysvětlení a k pochopení, že je v silách současné medicíny a zejména chirurgie pomoct nemocným s hemoroidálními obtížemi, bez obavy z bolesti vyplývající z léčebných opatření.
