Nejčastější klinické manifestace virových onemocnění

Nastupující sezóna zimních měsíců zahajuje i období zvýšeného výskytu onemocnění dýchacích cest. Tato onemocnění patří k nejčastějším a nejběžnějším lidským onemocněním. Ve většině případů se jedná o nezávažné průběhy zánětů horních cest dýchacích, většinou virové nebo bakteriální etiologie. V takových případech si s infekcí poradí imunitní systém sám a velkou část onemocnění s lehkým průběhem zvládneme pouze symptomatickou léčbou. Na významu tato onemocnění získávají, pokud je jejich průběh závažnější nebo pokud tato onemocnění bývají častější, opakovaná. Tady je nutné provést řadu základních i specielních vyšetření a na jejich základě potom zahájit odpovídající terapii.
