Tick-borne encephalitis

Tick-borne encephalitis is a viral infectious disease involving the central nervous system. Clinical presentatiton of the disease varies from

very mild to the most severe form which can be sometimes lethal. In this article I want highlight epidemiology and clinical picture of the

disease in two cases. Further more I point out the options of preventation and vaccination before the upcoming season of tick´s activity.
