Začiatky chirurgického umenia a chirurgickej liečby v starom Egypte

Autorka popisuje historický vývoj chirurgického umenia a chirurgickej liečby v starom Egypte. Približuje liečbu zlomenín, vykĺbenín, ochorení kĺbov i techniku liečenia rán v starom Egypte, ktorá bola na pomerne dobrej úrovni. Ďalej uvádza i niektoré zložitejšie chirurgické výkony ako napr. trepanáciu lebky i chirurgické odstraňovanie nádorov.
