Early reperfusion is the basic treatment of acute coronary syndrome. Regime recommen-dation and pharmacotherapy must followin order to prevent remodelation of left ventricle, restenosis, rethrombosis and arrhythmias. Four basic drug groups are usedrenin angiotensin aldosteron blockers, betablockers, antiagregation and lipid lowering drugs. The use of these drugs in the Czechregistry FARIM was: ACE-inhibitors (ACE-i) or sartans 90 % of patients, betablockers (BB) 86 % and statins 92 %. But the doses werefrequently insufficient. High dose of ACE inhibitors (sartans) and statins received only 25% of the patients.

Colorectal cancer is a serious tumour disease of the large intestine, with almost 8,000 patients being diagnosed with the diseasein the Czech Republic every year. Measles are one of the most severe viral diseases of childhood. Severe course of illness can be seen also in susceptible adults. Measlesare vaccine-preventable, but decreasing vaccine coverage due to postponing or refusal of vaccination starts to be a problem.There is an increasing number of measles throughout the European region this year. The symptomatic treatment of the common-cold and influenza

Respiratory infections are the most common infectious diseases which affect both children and adults. The treatment of coldand influenze is mostly symptomatical. Antipyretics are used to treat fever. Cought is affected by antitussives or expectoransaccording to character of cought. Sympatomimetics are used for decongestion of nasal mucosa. Supportive treatment includesphytopharmaceuticals with desinfectant, expectorant, hidrotic and non-specific immunomodulatory effects. Bed resting, sufficientfluid intake and vitamine-rich diet are essential parts of therapy.
